The swank hub of Washington Avenue nightlife might not be synonymous with foie gras and $40 steaks, and if it's sedate, mannerly high-end dining that you seek, look elsewhere. But for an electric atmosphere, some of the best people-watching in town and a surprisingly refined menu with an occasional flourish of innovation, Lucas Park Grille is the place to be in the loft district. Still more a place to see and be seen than a spot for foodies — but getting there.
