Mom's Deli

4412 Jamieson Ave.
St. Louis, MO 63109
314-644-1198
You will have to wait at Mom’s. After all, you're not the only one who wants to nab some of the best sandwiches in St. Louis. But you know what? You won’t mind. The wait's brief -- five to ten minutes, max -- and allows time to study the uniformly tempting menu. Do you want a Ron's Special, with hot salami, pepper cheese and spicy mustard? Or a meatball sammy with homemade tomato sauce? No matter which sandwich you choose, it'll be made right in front of you, with fresh-baked bread and top-grade, locally sourced meats. At the register you'll get the best kind of sticker shock -- just $2.95 to $5.05 for your meal-and-a-half sandwich.

The Inside Word on Mom's Deli

Walk-in deli/food convenience store. The Mom's Special sandwich is my FAVORITE sandwich in St. Louis. It has turkey, roast beef, cheese, thousand island dressing, and I get it without vegetables...so good. It costs about $5. I could eat it everyday. They also have lots of deli sides like potato salad, pasta salad, mostaccoli, etc.You can get it to go or eat on one of the picnic tables outside.

If you are a sandwich lover.... then Mom's deli is worth the drive and gas. Best sandwiches by far in St. Louis. I tend to always order the original Mom's Special (turkey, ham, roast beef, munchee cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and homemade thousand island dressing.) Don't let the line stop you... the sandwiches are amazing. P.S. They only take cash, however there is an ATM inside.
