A neighborhood restaurant in the best sense: appealing not just because it's there but because it compels you to return to see your neighbors and friends and what Vito Racanelli Jr. and his staff are dishing up. The pizzas are of the New York school: thin (but not too thin) crust, and lots of sour-tangy mozzarella. Especially tasty is a pizza with chicken smoked in-house, a rich, tangy barbecue sauce, roasted jalapeños, bacon, caramelized onion and cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. The menu includes hearty pasta favorites like spaghetti and meatballs, but consider the daily specials, where Racanelli really shows off his fine-dining chops.
