The most acoustically perfect venue in town, the Sheldon hosts a variety of folk, rock, jazz and cabaret acts. The inimitable sound produced in the semicircular room renders the butt-numbing chairs barely noticeable. The Sheldon's small size can lead to inflated ticket prices, but this is one venue that's actually worth every penny.
  • Hours: The gallery is open Tue. & Thu. noon-8 p.m.; Wed. & Fri. noon-5 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; and one hour before Sheldon concerts and during intermission.
