An authentic Mexican taqueria in an old Taco Bell? It's ironic or a sign of progress or maybe both. Here you'll find traditional taqueria fare - tacos, tortas and burritos - as well as a few dishes more commonly associated with full-scale restaurants (enchiladas, fried fish). A taco with chicharrónes(fried pork skin) is a greasy delight, and the tacos al pastor (pork with pineapple) are excellent. The highlight might be the tamales, available only on the weekends. The pork is spicy, and the masa is like jalapeño cornbread.
