A taqueria by name, a large and colorful Mexican restaurant by design. The menu has a broad range, from tacos, tortas and other taqueria dishes to the standard combination-lunch menu to unusual dishes like of tostadas de cueritos (pork skin marinated in vinegar). The mole poblano is excellent, and the camarones a la diabla deliver wicked heat. On the weekend try lamb barbacoa, delivered to your table in a chafing dish. The tortilla soup is a bowl of comfort at any time of day, and just about everything tastes better with a dash of the restaurant’s teriffic salsa verde.
