Anyone having a hard time finding Crossings needs only to follow the trains thundering through Old Webster. Although the upstairs restaurant has a bar, the action is all downstairs: Low ceilings, pool tables and stone walls create the basement’s speakeasy feel, where an older-skewing crowd dances the night away to Crossing’s nightly jazz acts. While the ambience is old school, patrons can behold modern touches in the jukebox, Megatouch machine and wide assortment of (legal) booze.
  • Hours: Lunch: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. daily. Dinner: 5-10 p.m. daily (open till 11 p.m. Fri. and Sat.) Downstairs bar is open until 1 a.m. Sun. and 2 a.m. Fri. and Sat.
