Big Muddy Blues Festival w/ Everette Dean, Billy Peek, Marquise Knox @ Laclede's Landing 7 p.m. | free-$90 An annual event now in its nineteenth year, Big Muddy Blues Festival brings 24 acts and three stages to Laclede's Landing for what is sure to be a stompin' good time over the course of three days. The Clothesline w/ Hubbble, DJ Sinamin, DJ Agile One @ Blank Space 9 p.m. | $5 This Blank Space event features "Videobodiment," an interactive video installation by Silvia and Derek Dadian-Smith, along with a line-up of local sounds. Fifty-perecent of the even'ts proceeds will go to Michael Brown's memorial fund. (MS)
Sweet Talk w/ Black James, Psychedelic Gangbang @ Livery Company 8 p.m. | $5 Sweet Talk comes from Austin to play its poppy, punky rock'n'roll -- check it out on Bandcamp. Local openers Black James and a mysterious new (?) project called Psychedelic Gangbang are bound to make the rest of the party dance-worthy. (MS)

DMX w/ St. Lunatics @ Ambassador 8 p.m. | $35-$50 There's nothing I could tell you about DMX that you don't already know, and either love or hate. Instead, let's watch this video of him losing his mind on a rollercoaster in Orlando. (DH)
