Von Brunn was shot in the melee and is currently listed in serious condition. According to news reports, Von Brunn is a well-known white supremecist living in eastern Maryland and the author of an anti-semtic website Holy Western Empire
His bio on that site states that he is now an artist and writer who penned a book titled, Kill the Best Gentiles
. It also states that he has Midwest roots.
