Posted By on Mon, Sep 13, 2010 at 7:52 AM

Gunfire lit up the south St. Louis neighborhood of Gravois Park Saturday night. The first shooting occurred around 9:10 p.m. at the intersection of Minnesota and Potomac (below).

That's where police found Calvin Robinson, 22, lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his chest and a pistol by his side. He would die a couple hours later at the hospital. Meanwhile...
Shortly after finding Robinson on the street, police were called to another shooting -- just around the corner in the 3500 block of Nebraska.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the chest there after having witnessed the shooting at Minnesota and Potomac. The teen was treated and released after reportedly describing the earlier shooting to police.
