Breeann went missing August 6
while riding her bicycle outside her home in Senath, Missouri. Five days later -- August 11 -- authorities discovered training wheels
two miles away that they believe were the same pair used on Breeann's bike.
Breeann's body has yet to be found, though the search has now changed from a kidnapping to a murder investigation. Morgan lives just down the street from Breeann's family.
Police and FBI working the investigation have provided few details on how Morgan arrived as the suspect, though they allege that Morgan strangled Breeann.
Morgan, a steelworker described as a quiet and meek man standing just five-foot-six-inches, is in custody and has a hearing today on charges of murder, armed criminal action and tampering with evidence. More details as they become available.
Police in the Missouri Bootheel arrested 43-year-old Shawn Morgan late Friday night, charging him with first-degree murder in the disappearance of 3-year-old Breeann Rodriguez.
