For More: Terrance Burnett Wanted For Murdering His Pregnant WifeOriginal story follows...
Police have made public the name of the pregnant woman shot dead yesterday in the parking lot of the WireWorks Lofts in Lafayette Square (below).
Danielle Burnett-Famous, 29, was shot in the face around 5:30 p.m. and later pronounced dead at an area hospital. Her unborn child also died as a result. A 43-year-old man with Burnett-Famous at the time of the incident was shot in the shoulder and treated and released from the hospital.
Police say the suspect is a 41-year-old black male who was known to Burnett-Famous, but they're not identifying him until an arrest has been made and charges filed.
Residents of the loft told reporters yesterday that the two victims moved into the building a couple months ago and kept to themselves. But court records suggest some anecdotal evidence about the possible identity of the unnamed suspect who shot the pair.
The records show that a woman born in 1982 and going by both Danielle Burnett and Danielle Famous recently lived in Florissant. Last month, Danielle Burnett filed for divorce against her husband, Terrance Burnett, whose mailing address at the time was the St. Louis County Justice Center. According to court papers regarding a marijuana possession charge filed against Terrance Burnett last month in St. Louis County, he was born in 1970 -- which would make him 40 or 41, depending on his birth date.
Court records also indicate that Danielle Burnett was charged with assault on a Florissant police officer and obstructing police following an incident in July of last year.
