Alfonzia Williams: St. Louis Homicide No. 72; Shot to Death in Kingsway West

Police were summoned to the 5200 block of Highland Avenue in the Kingsway West neighborhood at 7 p.m. last night for a reported shooting. They found three young men bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. One of those men was Alfonzia Williams, a 19-year-old black man who lived on that block. He had been shot in the face, abdomen and arm; he was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

The man identified by police as "Victim Number 2" had been shot in the right arm. He's a 20-year-old black man, and he's in stable condition at the hospital. "Victim Number 3" is a 16-year-old black man who had been shot in the buttocks; he's also in stable condition at the hospital. 

Based on their investigation, police have arrested Victim Number 2. Victim Number 3's connection to the incident has not been made public. Police continue to investigate the case.
