But see, that's not what the McDonald's employee in Springfield heard through the drive-thru intercom on Sunday afternoon.
No, the employee heard something about a chicken sandwich and a Powerade. Which screwed up the order.
The customer got angry -- to the point that the manager informed him the eatery would no longer serve him.
So the customer exited his vehicle, stormed into the store, picked up a cash register and -- with all the maturity of a toddler -- slammed it onto the ground.
We suggest that next time he try eating a Happy Meal.
Police have not found the guy, who Daily RFT will now call "the Cashier Smashier."
As we see it, reporter Jonathan Shorman
of the Springfield News-Leader put it best
: "The customer is always right; police may just disagree."
Look, when a man orders a chicken sandwich with no mayo, he wants a chicken sandwich with no mayo.
