Talkdemonic melds live percussion, electric violin, automated sounds and drum machines to create a vivid soundtrack of polyrhythmic sections. Portland natives Kevin O'Connor and Lisa Molinaro bring a human element that works as a nice juxtaposition against machine-made backtracks and pre-recorded chunks. Molinaro carries a strong leading melody on her viola through most pieces, and O'Connor uses his drum set to supply an acoustic rip to mostly electronic music.
