There's a little place on the Rue Lepic in Paris. A young GI, part of the American forces fighting in World War II, found his own slice of heaven in that bar with a young French woman. They laughed and loved and forgot about tomorrow against a backdrop of songs that encouraged such behavior. And then the war ended and that soldier returned to America. Now, with the memories of those songs -- and of her, the woman who might have been the one -- still haunting him, he returns to Paris to visit the old place one more time.
