Other art forms seem so creatively restrictive when compared to the sculptor's method of delivering his artistic message. Consider a painting: An artist knows that every bit of the conceptualization has to be contained on that particular canvas; there's just no way around it for the piece to be complete. Likewise with photography: Regardless of what is being shot, or how, the entirety of the subject matter needs to fit within the camera's frame (Photoshop notwithstanding). But sculpture is different. The limitations of size are never an issue here; a sculptor merely creates what he imagines.
