It's simple: GCAPA people are some sweet, sweet people. The Granite City Association for the Protection of Animals was founded in 1972 and gets by solely on donations, its volunteers' grit and their love for the hundreds of animals the organization adopts out each year. The GCAPA is a no-kill shelter that receives no city, county, state or federal funding; you can imagine the expenses incurred caring for abandoned, feral and sick animals. Wanna help?
