Hey, hey…it’s ex-Monkee lead singer Davy Jones! A romantic icon for generations of fans, Davy Jones first won millions of teenage hearts in the 1960s TV classic The Monkees. It was the first in a series of triumphs as an actor and comedian on the theatrical stage; and as a rock musician, composer and artist. Born in Manchester, England, Davy got his start at age 11 on the BBC soap opera, Coronation Street, and soon found himself onstage in London where he portrayed the mischievous Artful Dodger in the hugely successful West End production of Oliver! At 16, Davy originated the Artful Dodger role on Broadway and was nominated for a Tony Award. As a result, he was offered a contract with Columbia Pictures/Screen Gems Television and shortly after, The Monkees were born. It was pure magic and as a musical group, the debut album sailed to the top of the charts. A decade of hits followed. Recently, Davy again appeared in Oliver! And received rave reviews for the role of Fagin. In November 2004, Davy starred on VH1’s Very Classic Thanksgiving Special filmed at New York’s Hard Rock Café. And the handsome ex-Monkee has continued to record “brilliant stuff” as one reviewer wrote about his Just Me CD release. But Davy’s live shows are truly something special – combining an incandescent theatrical talent with a voice that breathes new life into classics like Little Bit Me, Little Bit You, Steppin’ Stone and Daydream Believer, as well as Hold On Girl and the Monkee’s signature song, I’m a Believer. It’s lighthearted pop-rock at its best -- catchy beat, catchy lyrics, bouncy upbeat tunes and mellow ballads that inspire pure happiness. See Davy Jones and experience the magic. Tickets are available online at tickets.com or call toll-free 877.444.2637. Tickets are also available at the Ameristar Promotions Booth. Ticket Prices: $35/$40

Oscar-winning actor/director/writer/musician Billy Bob Thornton was raised in Arkansas by his high school basketball coach father and psychic mother. He began playing drums at the age of 12, eventually joining a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover band in high school. After college he spent time in local bands like Blue & the Blue Velvets, Nothin' Doin', Cottonwood, and Hot 'Lanta, playing colleges and high schools throughout Arkansas and Texas. Nothin' Doin' became Tres Hombres, a ZZ Top cover band in the early '80s. After hitting it big in Hollywood, Thornton decided to return to his first love, music, and record an album. The dark and personal Private Radio arrived in 2001 on the Universal imprint Uptown. Produced and co-written with country legend Marty Stuart, it featured session work from some of Nashville's finest. Sanctuary released Edge of the World in 2003, followed by Hobo, released on the Big Deal label in 2005, and Beautiful Door in 2007. Thornton has also appeared on albums by Earl Scruggs (Earl Scruggs and Friends), the Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash (Distance Between), and Warren Zevon (The Wind). Tickets are available online at tickets.com or call toll-free 877.444.2637. Tickets are also available at the Ameristar Promotions Booth. Ticket Prices: $30/$35
