  • Yovani Gallardo is Better Than the Cardinals

Remember in the first series of this season, when the Cardinals were playing the Pittsburgh Pirates, and we all felt really good? We all thought, "Hey, this'll be great! The Cards can get off to a hot start, sort of pad the old record a little bit. After all, what are the Pirates for?" Well, things didn't work out so well for the Cards in that series, as they split the four-game set, but I have the answer. The answer is Yovani Gallardo. • Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Now ... Billy Mays?

Apparently death comes in fours. Waking up this morning to news that Billy Mays -- the ubiquitous product pitchman who talked in ALL CAPS and wore a magnifcent Just-for-Men beard -- has died. Mays was found dead in his Tampa, Florida, home on Sunday.
