  • Joe Buck Live Airs in Two Weeks on HBO

St. Louis broadcaster Joe Buck begins his live, sports talk show on HBO later this month. The show is taking over the slot from that other famed St. Louis sports broadcaster, Bob Costas, and his Costas Now. But if you think Buck's show will be at all like Costas' you may be in for a surprise. In addition to sports, Joe Buck Live will also feature "a heavy dose of comedy" -- a move that Deadspin questions may not be be appropriate, especially for those suffering from Joe Buck fatigue.   "I g

  • Artie Lange Destroys Joe Buck Live...

If you haven't heard yet, last night's debut of HBO's Joe Buck Live was hijacked by over-the-top comedian Artie Lange of the Howard Stern Show. From the looks of it, it was all Buck could do not to leap over the coffee table and strangle the potty-mouthed Lange -- whose gay jokes and rapid-fire f-bombs were racy even for late-night cable. Here's one clip from the show...But wait it gets better (or is that worse?). Check out the online extra of the show over at Deadspin in which Lange accuses Buc

  • Joe Buck: Brand New Show, Same Old Schtick

Last night was the debut of Joe Buck's new show on HBO, called, appropriately enough, Joe Buck Live. Now, let me get this out of the way at the very beginning: I'm a fan of Joe Buck. I've always enjoyed listening to him call a game, whether that be on television or on the radio. He isn't his father, but then again, who is? With that said, I also want to say this: I'm a little bit tired of Joe Buck.

  • After They Hear Artie Lange's Rants, Joe Buck Washes His Daughters' Mouths with Soap

stltoday.comDan "The Man" CaesarAt Daily RFT we occasionally poke fun (and misspell the name) of Post-Dispatch columnist Dan Caesar. It's not that we dislike Caesar's writing. It's fine. It's that we wonder why St. Louis needs a dedicated sports-media columnist. (Do the contract negotiations of the local sports shock-jock really qualify as news??)That said, in sports-talk parlance Caesar "hit it out of the park" this morning with his interview of Joe Buck in the wake of Monday's horrendous debut

  • 5 Other Comedians To Make Joe Buck Cringe

Photo: Fandome.comWho else should Joe's producers invite on the show?Remember Monday night when St. Louis born-and-bred broadcaster Joe Buck melted from embarrassment and simultaneously seethed with rage over Artie Lange farting all over the first episode of his HBO show, Joe Buck Live? I think we can safely say it was a train-wreck. And by all accounts, pretty hilarious, even if people feel kind of bad that Buck's children were in the audience to witness it. And if you missed it, there's even m

  • Hey Joe Buck? See You at Artie Lange's Show Next Month?

This just in from the booking department over at the Roberts Orpheum Theater. The downtown St. Louis concert venue is playing host next month to Artie Lange. You know, the comic who crapped all over Joe Buck's debut talk show last week. Here's the announcement on the theater's website with a few relevant highlights. Wonder if Buck got the same "mature audiences" warning before deciding to have his young daughters watch him attempt to interview Lange on the show.In any case, Buck certainly knows
