Men's Health and Women's Health magazines have come out with their ranking of the 100 best -- and worst -- cities in America for healthy living. St. Louis ranks as the second-worst city in both Men's Health and Women's Health, with only Bakersfield, California, and Charleston, West Virginia, respectively, earning lower marks.

On Saturday, September 5, the popular Hill tapas bar Modesto (5257 Shaw Avenue; website) will hold a tomato festival of its own.
Chef Grace Dinsmoor of the popular tapas restaurant Modesto (5257 Shaw Avenue; website) has been battling a severe bone infection in her right leg for the past several months. On September 13, Bar Italia (13 Maryland Plaza; website) will host a benefit toward her medical bills. The benefit, organized by the owners of Pickles Deli (22 North Euclid Avenue) will run from 3-8 p.m. and will feature food, beverages, entertainment, a silent auction and raffle.
