The Soulard venue Lucas School House will be closing after its New Year's Eve show with Jake's Leg and Naked Groove. In the two-and-a-half years it was open, Lucas hosted a diverse group of local bands and national touring acts, including Mitch Easter, Robbie Fulks, Ha Ha Tonka, Backyard Tire Fire, Webb Wilder, and Mosquitos, just to name a few. Co-owner Dan Jameson sent over the following statement:
