On Thursday, July 29, rock legend Chuck Berry performed a free concert at Kiener Plaza in support of St. Louis' bid for the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Local rap star Nelly also showed up as the surprise mystery guest. The event was sponsored and organized by the St. Louis 2012 Convention Host Committee.
