The man of the hour, Gerry Lundquist, on the right.

To help cover medical expenses for Gerry Lundquist, beloved trombonist of ska-punk pioneers Mu330 and Skankin' Pickle, his friends put on a benefit for the "Ayatolla of Rock n'Rollah" on Sunday, January 13, 2012 at Lemmons (5800 Gravois Avenue.) The Scam, the Haddonfields and the Unmutuals all performed. "We just want to help a guy who has never asked for a help," says organizer Justin Deming. Photos by Jason Stoff for the Riverfront Times.
