Stag Nite is a South City tradition spanning nine years, four bars and over a thousand bands. Every Wednesday night thirsty bar patrons and music lovers alike swarm to the event, currently held on Cherokee Street's favorite Spanish-named German bar turned hipster hotspot, El Lenador. The formula of three bands, a five dollar cover and dollar Stags all night has kept the event thriving -- not to mention the hard work of its host, the venerable Johnny Vegas.
