100 Drinkers in Soulard Imbibe for Haiti 

More than 100 drinkers went on a mega pub-crawl in on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Soulard, to raise money for earthquake victims in Haiti. Egan O'Keefe chronicles their drunken fundraiser.
Inside Molly's in Soulard -- 816 Geyer Avenue -- relaxation was key as clothes were removed.
Meeting at Big Daddy's, the group warmed up with some beers and live art.
Pub crawl organizer Timothy Schlesinger estimated by midday that he had raised between $6,000 and $8,000. If he reached $10,000 his employer said it would double the donation.

The pub crawl T-shirts had the routes written upside-down, so the wearer could see where they were due next.

By the time the group reached Johnny's sports bar, things began the loosen up a bit.

With $10,000 as their fund-raising goal, the group paid $25 per shirt.

Art was raffled off as were various other gift packages boosting the incoming donations.
By the end of the pub crawl, everyone was tired, relaxed and had raised money for Haiti, although the final tally won't be tabulated until later this week.
