Last summer might have been the season of the twerk, but let's make some different kinds of memories this summer. Let's make magic outdoors, under starry nights and sunny skies; let's come together with our community members, and eat, shop and be merry. And let's start this very weekend at the Webster Community Arts Foundation's Art & Air festival, happening in Webster Groves on the grounds of Webster University and Eden Theological Seminary (near East Lockwood and North Bompart avenues). The outdoor art-fest runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday (June 6 through 8), which gives us plenty of time to peruse the creative offerings of 100-plus juried artists from all over, listen to live music, and munch on eats from Straub's, Milagro Modern Mexican, Zia's and others. Check out www.wcaf.org/artandair for an event map and more information; admission is free.
Fri., June 6, 6-10 p.m.; Sat., June 7, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sun., June 8, 12-5 p.m., 2014
