The city has plenty of cheap and yummy Italian eats on the Hill, but that certainly doesn't mean that the county gets left out. At the two westerly locations of Viviano's Festa Italiano, an Italian café, grocery and catering company, fresh bread is delivered daily from Marconi Bakery and Fazio's Bakery, and there isn't a single thing on the extensive café menu that costs more than $11. Choose from classics like toasted ravioli, muffaletta, hot salami, spaghetti and meatballs; there are also lots of sandwiches with generous servings of Provel cheese. Don't pass up dessert — Viviano's offers tiramisu, cannolis, a dessert panini and ghiaccio (Italian smoothies), among other treats. It also takes catering orders, so just convince your boss that you really need St. Louis-style Italian food in the office.
