Chicks Dig A Hairy Guy

Forget waiting until Disney re-releases Beauty and the Beast from its vault. The classic love story comes to the Fox Theatre (527 North Grand Boulevard) this month, which gives us an excuse to dust off the old Belle costume (yellow gloves and all) and have ourselves a ball. Who doesn't want to be Belle for just one night? This small-town girl stumbles upon an enchanted castle and an exciting romance. For the Beast, it's a race against time to get this beauty to fall for him before he's stuck in his own personal hell for the rest of his days. Beauty and the Beast is a timeless tale about compassion, looking past appearances, and most importantly, it's about how love can really save a life. Disney's Beauty and the Beast is performed Tuesday through Saturday, (December 20 to December 24). Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 1 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are $20 to $75. For more information, call 314-534-1111 or visit www.fabulousfox.com.
