Hopefully, you got a full nights sleep last night, because you know what today is: the annual Saint Patricks Day Parade in Dogtown (www.stlhibernians.org). As is tradition, things get under way at noon at Tamm and Oakland, and the parade may end, but Dogtown parties all night. Many of the neighborhoods finer bars and taverns are open for business, so bring cash and prepare to park outside the neighborhood. As the parade organizers note on their website, Parking is always a problem. But who cares? If the weathers good, a nice walk will do you good. And if the weathers bad, pshh, a pint of Guinness and a shot of whiskey warm all bones. Admission to the parade is free, and its one of the finer social events youll ever find on a Wednesday.
