Aubrey "Drake" Graham is anything but your conventional rap star. The Canadian-born entertainer got his break on the TV series DeGrassi: The Next Generation before catching the attention of rap impresario Lil Wayne, who took the up-and-comer under his wing in 2008. Drake has since released So Far Gone, a much-hyped mixtape-turned-EP, and his highly anticipated debut album, Thank Me Later, which topped the charts earlier this year. In the tradition of Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreaks, Drake's often-moody verses and melancholy instrumentals are full of emotion and introspection, in contrast to the swagger and bravado of acts like his mentor. Note: Clipse is no longer scheduled to appear on the tour; Drake will be accompanied by Young Money labelmate Tyga instead.
