El Mariachi

Located in the Zumbehl Commons along Zumbehl Road just south of Interstate 70, El Mariachi brings south-of-the-border dishes to St. Charles. Appetizers revolve around the chips, with nachos offered a variety of different ways, with cheese, beans, beef, chicken, shrimp available to construct a crunchy starter. Entrées include standard Mexican items including fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, tamales and tacos. Dishes from the sea range from a Mexico-inspired shrimp cocktail, with the addition of an onion, avocado and cilantro blend, to huachinango al mojo de ajo, deep-fried red snapper in a garlic sauce. El Mariachi specialties include a mole ranchero of grilled chicken topped with a thick mole sauce and a number of steaks cooked with a Southwestern flare. Combination plates and a full kids' menu are also available.
