Adding another rich layer to their current exhibit, John Stezaker, the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum presents its Fringe Figure Film Festival, featuring films with themes similar to those of Stezaker's work. Tuesday, March 27, the series presents The Third Man, a classic example of film noir. A pulp novelist travels to Vienna and soon finds himself investigating the death of a friend, played by Orson Welles. The Third Man screens at the Landmark Tivoli Theatre (6350 Delmar Boulevard, University City; www.landmarktheatres.com) tonight at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
