St. Louis' no-alcohol, family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration celebrates 20 years with a Xanadu theme in Grand Center (North Grand Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard; www.firstnightstl.org). Live performers, arts activities, a heated dance tent and two fireworks displays -- one at 9 p.m. and one at midnight. Admission wrist bands are $5 to $10 and available now.
