Gaming for Good

You're playing Guitar Hero all the time anyway — and, truth be told, acting like a bit of a child while rocking out — so you might as well play the game for kids, indirectly at least, at the "R-U-A Guitar Hero?" Live Competition and Silent Xtreme Auction event, which benefits the Children's Miracle Network. This fundraiser is put on by the students of the Fontbonne OPTIONS sports and entertainment program, and it's held on the second floor of the Fontbonne University Student Union (6800 Wydown Boulevard). All you have to do to compete is get registered by shooting an e-mail to [email protected], pay $15 to $20 and show up at the union by 6:30 p.m. — that's when the doors open. The event itself runs from 7 to 10 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to also peruse the silent-auction items (including a digital camera, an iPod and more).
