Gateway Cup, St. Louis, 8/29/08 

The Gateway Cup bicycle race series got rolling Friday night in Lafayette Square Park, the city's first public park. The pro race began at 9:30 p.m., with $1,900 going to the winner.
The womens' race participants waited through a long delay due to a serious injury on the track from the previous race.
