Go Brazilian

Whether you spend all day sitting behind a computer, standing behind a counter or scurrying all over town, the best way to shake off work is to actually shake it. That's right: Nothing rids your mind of obnoxious coworkers, a stolen lunch or a busybody boss quite like moving your butt. So this evening, don't drive straight home; instead, head to the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (3750 Washington Boulevard) for Select Night: Brazil. From 6 to 9 p.m., unwind to Brazilian rhythms spun by Andrea from the KDHX (88.1 FM) show Radio Rio and performances courtesy of Samba Bom and Capoeira Brasil of St. Louis — all while checking out the dance moves of St. Louis Magazine's top twenty singles. Plus, enjoy free admission, free appetizers from Wolfgang Puck and drinks for a $2 donation to the museum (or bring a can of tuna to support Food Outreach and get a free drink ticket). This party is for the 21-and-up crowd only; for more information call the museum at 314-535-4660 or visit www.contemporarystl.org.
