Last week, we offered suggestions for how you should go about making the most of this weekend's City-Wide Open Studios Tour. Did you heed our advice? If so, you're likely in a celebrating mood today, after having met many local artists in their studios, seeing some great work and making such good use of your time. To commemorate your planning efforts and to visit more with your new artist friends, the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (3750 Washington Boulevard; 314-535-4660 or www.contemporarystl.org) invites you to the Open Studios Barbecue. Held from 4 to 8 p.m. to cap off the weekend, this dinner party serves up 'cue from Pappy's Smokehouse, with Schlafly beers to drink and Ted Drewes for dessert, all in the museum's courtyard space. Admission to fill up and hang out costs just $10; purchase your tickets in advance at www.openstudiosonline.org.
