We're so super-excited for the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis' Dada Ball that we've been trying to live in the most Dada-esque way possible. Yesterday, when the boss asked why we hadn't hit that deadline, we bellowed, "Noodle soup!" Then last week at Schnucks, we insisted on paying with cotton balls. And on Valentine's Day we gave our sweetie a heart-shape box filled with rodent teeth. Hooray! Of course, the results of those activities weren't too great (fired, arrested and smacked senseless, respectively). So now we're getting psyched for the ball in a more socially acceptable way by attending the PreDada party
at Centro Modern Furnishings (4727 McPherson Avenue) from 6 to 8 p.m. We (and you) can enjoy drinks and nibbles, shop the art sale (featuring Dada-style work by CAMStL's New Art in the Neighborhood Students), and be among the first to check out Centro's exclusive Fritz Hansen collection. The suggested donation for this evening of artsy fun is $10, and all proceeds go to the museum. Call 314-535-4660 for more information.
