Hudlin Tennis Center

Hudlin Park might just feature the best free tennis courts in St. Louis. Tucked between Forest Park and medical buildings, and above an underground parking garage, the complex features six hard courts and lights, plus access to four handball courts and bathrooms. Except for a few dead spots and water pools, the courts are in excellent condition. The place can be a little hard to find and parking is metered from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Once you’re there, feel free to go all-out: if you sprain an ankle, medical assistance is literally across the street.
