Beverly Hacker, general manager of dhTV, wants the misperception to change. The group scored a publicity coup by producing promos (with the dhTV logo prominently featured) for Cinema St. Louis that were seen before every movie in this year's St. Louis International Film Festival, increasing the station's visibility. In another profile-raising maneuver, the dhTV offices moved to bigger digs in the Euclid Plaza building (where they've been located for the past twelve years), with amenities such as a new studio, digital-editing suites and a training area for aspiring filmmakers. "We're looking for people who want to produce television," Hacker says, mentioning new programs like Coming Up Shorts and City Visions, both of which are perfect forums for new filmmakers looking to get their names out.
To celebrate the short-but-momentous move, dhTV is throwing a little party.
