The last Austin Powers movie was released so long ago that even your weird uncle has stopped wailing, "Yeah, baby!" This means that pop culture miners are just about ready to begin the post-ironic reassessment phase on Mike Myers second-greatest film endeavor (Wayne's World or GTFO). Get ahead of that curve with a free screening of the super-spy spoof that launched a tsunami of horrible British accents: Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Myers' Sean Connery jokes and his cruel mockery of English teeth were still fresh and funny in this one, and Powers never had a better foil than Liz Hurley's "Vanessa Kensington." Austin Powers screens at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Central branch of the St. Louis Public Library (1301 Olive Street; www.slpl.org).
