Nothing Like A Good Rut

Eddie and May are in love. Or maybe they're just in a rut -- let's say they're actually in rut, because the physical part of their relationship is the only part that actually works. Eddie's in the rodeo, which affords him the opportunity to travel, which affords him the opportunity to dally with other women and drink too much. May's decided to break out of the cycle and left Eddie to hide out in a motel on the edge of the desert. But now that he has found her again, can she go forward with her plan? Here at the beginning of the wasteland, they'll fight it out one last time.
