Off to Never Neverland

J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan is an important character for children to meet. Peter's refusal to grow up represents the fantasies of eternal youth, imagination and endless, carefree adventure, but it also stifles change, new experiences and some of life's greatest joys, like finding love and being loved, and drinking beer. Watch Peter teach Wendy, Michael and John to let loose and fly, fight Captain Hook and save fairies with the Lost Boys at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday (April 2 and 3) in the stage adaptation of Peter Pan starring actress Cathy Rigby at the Peabody Opera House (1400 Market Street; 314-499-7600 or www.peabodyoperahouse.com). Tickets cost $22 to $92.
