Our Eyes Are Watching Zora 

As part of the city libraries' Black History Month program, St. Louis Public Library's Machacek Branch (6424 Scanlan Avenue; 314-781-2948 or www.slpl.org) will host a screening of Zora Neale Hurston: Jump at the Sun. The documentary shares Hurston's story, from her acclaimed novels to her groundbreaking use of dialogue to her vibrant personality. The screening will take place on Monday, February 6 at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
