Unless you're dead (our condolences, by the way), you've noticed that Macy's has moved into town. If all the signage didn't tip you off, then surely one of the many events did (including "Shop for a Cause" charity day on Saturday, September 16). One other happening that makes St. Louis much more of a Macy's kind of place is the Macy's Parade-on-Parade tour's stop at our fair Saint Louis Galleria (South Brentwood Boulevard and Clayton Road, Richmond Heights; www.macysparade.com). Finally, a piece of New York's sweet Thanksgiving Day balloon action lands in the Midwest! At this free event, which runs from 3 to 8 p.m., you will not only be able to hang out with a 25-foot loveable Grover balloon, but you will also get to enjoy an interactive parade experience, watch a musical revue, learn how to build a balloon or float for your next parade, and, well, hang out with a 25-foot loveable Grover balloon! Hooray for blue monsters! Hooray for parades! Hooray for Macy's!
