Matt and Davis are old college buddies, with all of the friendship and competitiveness that implies. Matt is struggling along trying to make it as a playwright, while Davis is an overnight success as an editor. Together again in Amsterdam, Davis brings his ol' pal the gift of a hooker, Christina. She's supposed to be merely a slumpbuster for Matt, but he latches on to her as his last hope for happiness. The fact that Davis has already tested Christina out is another problem entirely. How much sharing can one friendship sustain? Adam Rapp's Red Light Winter is a drama about the pointier parts of an unorthodox love triangle.
