Rosalita's Cantina isn't merely just another burrito/quesadilla/chimichanga joint - though all three of those dishes are available - but it isn't quite a white-tablecloth Mexican restaurant, either. In this striking loft-district space, McGowan Brothers Development attempt to offer the best of both worlds: familiar fare like burritos, enchiladas and guacamole, as well as more intriguing dishes. Among these, the duck mole is a standout, and an appetizer of roasted jalapeños stuffed with shrimp, corn, garlic and Oaxaca cheese is a nice change of pace. The margaritas are well-executed, made from the holy trinity: tequila, Grand Marnier and freshly squeezed lime juice.
