Before Cameron Crowe gave us Almost Famous, the adorable, semi-autobiographical coming-of-age rock drama that introduced us to one of the O.G. manic pixie dream girls, he directed one of the most '90s-riffic films to ever grace our eyeballs. Singles was a film that defined a generation of neurotic dreamers in bad outfits, and it will screen at Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Avenue, Maplewood; 314-241-2337 or www.schlafly.com) at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 7. Bottleworks' full food and drink menu will be available during the specially-priced ($4) screening.
